Heh, heh.

I found this funny. And I still want a dog, but apparently my mom still isn't convinced. "Why have a dog, look at your brother's pepper plant! It's pretty AND stress-free!" Like I'd want to have my own pepper tree. My sister-in-law named it Peppy, though, and I must admit it's getting very big. A pepper tree can't keep me company, though, but even the loneliness attempt is wasted when it comes to my mom. "You're not lonely, you have her!" Too bad she's 25 minutes away from me, and stop looking over my shoulder when I'm on my phone, mom!
Yes, my brother and my sister-in-law are in town this weekend. We went to Jamba Juice today (Orange Dream Machine is yummers) followed by the Korean supermarket to pick up some ribs. Never have I felt so out-of-place amongst Asians before, so I just smiled and nodded or shook my head accordingly whenever someone try to speak Korean to me or asked me to try a sample. I don't know what you did with those green noodles, but I'll pass. A small family&friends get-together took up most of my time today; tomorrow is my brother and his wife's 1-year anniversary, and since they're going to Napa tomorrow, we decided to celebrate today while they were still here. Oh, and we went to Target, too. Sweet.
I don't know what else to say, except that it's HOT and I should really be sleeping right now. At least it's a minimum day tomorrow (today). Goodnight!
P.S. Just maybe!

Oh, pretty baby,

Homework on the second day of school? For a senior?!

Well, school this year seems to be pretty chill. I never really understood why Silver Creek always starts on a Tuesday rather than a Monday, but hey, I'm not complaining. I took the extra day off to visit Amery since she had school, and since she's always vandalizing my blogspot and twitter. Hope you enjoyed seeing my ugly face again!

So what's new this year? It seems like the entire school is overrun by freshmen. Seriously! They're everywhere, and it's starting to get on my nerves. It also seems that people are starting to follow the hype; tell me why I went an entire summer without seeing a single person with my hairdo, yet on the first day of school it seems like every other person has the same cut I do?

On the bright side, my classes are decent. Let's see...well, after two days of school, I've concluded that Mrs. Walia is either mental or on drugs, or perhaps all of the above. Math Analysis is pretty punny ("Hallo, I am Mr. Pun and I tawk ly dees"), and I have Meggie in my class again. Can you say "free rides home"?! Just kidding, but I'm definitely not kidding when I say that I have Mrs. Williams for third period again; this time it's Psychology, and it's shaping up to be even more boring than U.S. History was last year. My Econ teacher Mr. Murphy reminds me of a dog, and I don't quite know why, but he's a chill guy. Bonus points in my book for trying to be hip with his "flip-flop fo-sho"s. Spanish is my favorite class again this year, as always. There's only about 20 people in Spanish 4 and I know almost everyone in the class. Mrs. Ayala is teaching it this year, but we set up our little "Amstrup Corner", where Connie and Randell always commit epic fails, ha. I have sixth period Piano, which is incredibly boring and sleep-inducing for me considering the material we're covering is way too basic for me and for the fact that it's right after lunch. I don't need to practice my C Major scales, can I play something in A flat?!

Seems like a lot of people are driving now, so I've had Wendy's afterschool for the past two days. Look what you've done to me! I haven't had a chance to properly work out for the past week or so, which is longer than you'd think when it comes to fitness, but hopefully I'll be able to start again tomorrow, assuming I don't fall asleep on the couch watching TV again.

I should really be sleeping right now, as I'm taking school pictures tomorrow morning. White or black v-neck?! I'll decide in the morning. Goodnight!

P.S. As much as I dislike it, I can deal with it. Trust me! (:

Too Legit to quit!

Ha, ha. Here's a shot from the photoshoot we did on Friday. I love this shirt!
_DSC1739
Whoah, a vertically oriented picture for once! Anyways, there's the tee. Like it? I do! They're now available on the Too Legit website, so go cop them now! Also check out the lookbook on there, and pay attention to the banner on the store, I'm in both of them. Pretty neat, huh!

So the past few days have been pretty sweet, not too bad considering the fact that summer is drawing to a close. We had a family get-together on Saturday evening now that my cousins are back from their trip to Vietnam, and we had a full house again, the way it used to be. My eyes were met with a pleasant surprise when my cousin Ti (I call him T.I. or Tip, ha) came over with his new S2000; dad and I took it for a spin, and man, that thing is FAAAAST. Keep your B- and K-series, the F20C is a beast, and even more so when it's supercharged. Speaking of beasts, we had goi du du (papaya salad) and banh xeo (sorta like a Vietnamese taco) that night, and I was completely STUFFED. The taro cake was alright, it was a little too sweet for me though, and OD on the frosting much?

I slept in, only to be awakened by a surprise visit from my cousin from Long Beach, who walked into my room as soon as he arrived, said "Ut, you son of a gun!" (Ut is my house name/nickname, it's a name given to the youngest child of a family!), and slapped my ass. Boy did that wake me up, but as soon as I finally got my ass out of bed, I was greeted by ANOTHER surprise: my cousin's new Porsche Carrera 4. Why are all of my cousins getting new cars?! My brother is buying a new car next year as well, and here I am, lagging on my license. My goal is to get it before October; I'm able to get it now, I just want to practice and be sure I'll ace it on the first go.

Yesterday was chill. I did a meetup with Nick (Aye Nicholas from ISS) at Quimby. There were so many people playing basketball there, and it's a little awkward when you're carrying around a shoebox because you stick out like a sore thumb. "Hey are you from ISS?" "What are you trading?" "Oh you're back again." Well, I finally copped my Fire Red IIIs. My only goal shoe-wise for the rest of the year is to find a pair of either 1994 or 2004 Chicago Hi-top IIs, which I know is going to be very, very tough. Wish me luck.

Today was schedule pick-up day, or as the informational letters from school calls it, "schedule distribution day." I arrived a little late, but Daniel saved me a spot in line and I got in without much wait. I also have no classes with any of my friends, what the heck?! It's alright though, it's been like this every year so far. I forgot to bring money for my yearbook (shucks), and I really don't know why they don't take our school pictures NOW and hand out our IDs NOW like every other school does, but instead make us wait until the day after school commences to take the pictures, and then force us to wait for another two to three weeks to even get our ID cards. Silver Creek fails in so many ways.

Well, I'm leaving for Disneyland in a few hours (I really don't know why I'm awake), and this post has gone on long enough, so I'll cut it off here and update again from SoCal. I'll be there from today until Sunday, doing some back to school shopping, choppin' it up with the cuzzos, getting my grub on, and of course, spending a lot of time in the happiest place on earth. Not a bad way to end my summer, yeah? Hope you guys have an enjoyable, productive, peaceful rest-of-the-week before school comes raining down on our parade. Hit up my phone if anything, but for now, I'm hitting the sheets. Night, folks.

Oh, ONE MORE THING! (haha, Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventures) It would seem that a little girl has been posting rediculous things on my Blogspot and Twitter (and possibly in other places that I am unaware of), and I'm sure her shenanigans will only continue throughout the next few days that I'm gone. Hope you guys are ready for some pretty freaky stuff! I got her back, though, heh. And no, I don't really engage in sexual intercourse with my pillow...ha. Goodnight!

GoGoGorillaz

Life has been so slow lately. Maybe some of this is what I need!
wzAYuVOdMnp8qys9wg06d9vSo1_500
So what's new? Let's see...I got my senior portraits in (pics later), started working out again, spent all of my cash except for my $50 bill, and slept shirtless this entire week. Oh, and I also have a week and a half left of game time; the first two and a half weeks went to waste due to me not checking my account. Well, it's better than nothing, and Denkou is back for the time being!

Gonna post it at a friend's house today, but I'll be sure to update before I leave next week. Oh yeah, I'm going to Disneyland before school starts. Other than that, everything is just great.

I rock awesomely, the offspring of the flawless brings game.

Ricochet

Hi Ashley Agustin, I totally don't remember taking this picture!

So there's been a lot of parties going on lately, so much that it might even be considered unhealthy! There was two in SoCal when I went two weeks ago, Kat's last Saturday (Happy Birthday again!), Tien's on Thursday, poker night yesterday, and then Cathy and Judez today (Happy Birthday girls!). "Where are all of these friends coming from?!" Haha, mom! Well, it's summertime, so I'm going to be having as much fun as I can before school finally rolls around. Can you believe it's Senior year already?

I went to the dentist yesterday with my dad and I was told that all four of my wisdom teeth needed to be removed, and that I should do it before school starts. Just looking at the brochure and seeing how the procedure is done makes me queasy, but I don't really have a choice in this case. Dad said if I wanted to wait, I could do it on Christmas break. He's also in "nicemode" all of a sudden; he's getting me a new phone and also asked me if I want a new computer. I feel bad not working and paying for these things myself, but two months of job hunting has led me absolutely nowhere.

Something has been off lately; nothing seems to be going well and it seems as if a mistake was made, yet I can't put my finger on what it is. It's that same feeling you get when you take a math test and you know you messed up big somewhere along the way, but you can't seem to find your errors and spend the entire period looking over everything, until the bell rings and you're forced to turn it in the way it is. Oftentimes it's filled with a lot of nonsensical bullshit to make it seem like you did some work when in actuality, you did damn near nothing. I hate it, because I know it's not real.

So there's my little update for the week. I'm going to go enjoy my Saturday, and I hope everyone else enjoys theirs as well!

Water water everywhere

First I'm gonna take a dive into that water deep until I know I pleased that body, bodyyyy

Holy blowfish, it's late! I'm eating cup noodles.

Birthday Sex was playing all over the radio today, so I decided to bump it everywhere I went. It's so funny when my mom sings along, because she only sings the "I-I-I" parts, haha. I love my mom though, forreals! She gives me a ride to practically everywhere, even if she has work, and she doesn't mind when I turn the volume up really loud when we we drive around.

I had an orthodontist appointment today. Dr. Nettleman asked me how many hours I wear my retainer a day. "Maybe like 15, 16 hours a day...? Not as much as I should!" Actually, I only wear them when I go to sleep, but he told me my teeth looked fine and as long as my retainers still fit and don't hurt too much when I wear them, then I'm good to go. Another check-up in six months!

So I haven't been doing as well as I could have been with my retainer wear, but I've established a consistent workout routine which consists of 30 minutes on the eliptical (3.5-4 miles), 500 situps via Ab Rocket (10 sets of 50), 300 pushups (10 sets of 30), and varied amounts of curls and butterflies, every day except weekends, because weekends are eating days. So far so good, and tally marks are neat.

Well, I'm getting a new phone soon, and I'm going shopping soon, and hopefully I'm getting my license soon, and hopefully hopefully hopefully REALLY WANT TO get my studio set up soon so I can start recording some stuff. Annddd I'm almost done with my cup noodles, so I'm going to eat hot cheetos as I sip on Arizona and watch Iron Man Armored Adventures (no Avatar tonight!). OW, I just hit my knee on the counter as I was repositioning myself, I'm on the laptop by the way. Nice to have you back. Goodnight!

Oh, and I really, really like swimming.

Questions

I wonder why.

I wonder why sometimes the sun doesn't shine; why sometimes two and two don't go together and visions of my past are around every corner. I wonder why circles never end and why we're all off center. Passing thoughts becoming lingering problems, and I begin to wonder when it is that problems become solutions, if ever at all. I wonder, if the sun should decide not to rise on any given day, would I still be alive, still be breathing? And I think of memories past, of school days and childlike innocence. I reflect upon these waters, as murky as they may be, and remember that it is still water, that my reflection is still on its surface.

Yet I still can't help but wonder how I'm able to wake up with a smile and go to bed with an even bigger one, every single day.

Goodnight!
